Is something going on with this one? Starting to get a little impatient with the electricity price automation, which only controls by percentage of average price. Now you have to turn it off on days when the price is low, because it takes so little to get a high percentage increase.

What is the status of “Automation 2.0"? Almost 3 years ago this message was posted.

Anders: can we have a timeline for this to happen? There are a few automation that I would like to implement and are currently giving me a headache. I would like to know if the new automation is coming relatively soon or if I should invest a significant amount of time into learning the "old" automation.

I would like an opportunity to enter a time interval for when automations should be active. Example 1: since HAN goes bananas when producing solar cells, automations for HE could be turned off in the middle of the day. Example2: automation to regulate heating in bedrooms against maximum power could be active during the day, but not at night.

Lux - trigger

Wish me lux as a trigger, it will be too small with only four modes, more depth is needed to automate eg blinds or lights 👍

Possibility of additional conditions in automation

It should be possible to be able to set several conditions for something to happen in an automation, e.g. “If electricity price > 1.50/kWt AND electricity price +10% > average price, turn off HVAC heater, otherwise turn on HVAC heater”. Or “If TempSensor1 > 50° AND power price > average price +10%, turn off HVAC heater, otherwise turn on HVAC heater”.
Hopefully something like this will come in the famous Automation 2.0, when maybe it will arrive sometime in the future...

Good suggestion. For those who do not have a temperature sensor in the VV tank, it could be useful if it was possible to set the maximum downtime.

Totally agree.. as of today you don't really know what happens when, for example, the heater is turned off,. how long it stays out/off

It should be possible to modify an automation without having to delete it and recreate everything
