Elko plug
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun:
Hey!
Is it this one? https://proff.elko.no/smartplugg-16a/category3015.html
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: ja.
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun: It has not been tested/supported as of today. Moves this one to “Device support” and gets it into the list of things we need to research/add support for :-)
For a list of supported products you can go here; products.futurehome.io
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: Hey. Will it be a long time before you guys have it added?
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun: At the present time it's hard to say - I've requested the developers if there's a lot of work
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun: I was now told that it uses the same communication type that we already support. Could you try again? Possibly it helps to have the plug close to the smart hub.
How do you add those?
After opening the Zigbee network is the procedure;
Briefly (< 0,5 s) press the operating button 3
times to connect to the available Zigbee network.
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: I've tried several. It looks like it's one with bugs on it, which makes me unable to connect with it. But I discovered a new thing. I do not get out information about the consumption from the plugs.
I have an Aqara plug that works decidedly. That's where I get all the information I'm looking for.
Hallstein Nortun
Hey. If I go into the plugs, they show accumulated consumption. But there is nothing that comes across to the module for power monitoring. They have now been on for over a day. Is it a known problem?
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun: Could you attach a photo from the device (one from the top and one with the details on the bottom) when you're inside the device itself? :-)
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: Do you need anything else?
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: After 8pm yesterday, there are no values coming in. Even the Aqarua plug doesn't output values. It has worked in the past.
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: To get a better insight into the power consumption, it would have been advantageous to be able to divide the consumption by component name. That is not only on light, heat, equipment, etc., but down to, for example, the plug with the name refrigerator, freezer etc.
Is it possible to achieve?
Espen Håland
Hallstein Nortun: We investigate a bit why this plug doesn't come up on the energy tile.
You can bring it down at the unit level by pressing the various circles - eg “heat”, “light” etc. inside the energy tile
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: It's good. What I want is to be able to break down what goes under appliances. It is therefore desirable to come divide them by id or name. It is to be able to measure e.g. freezer, washing machine, etc., to have it presented in its own column or electricity. Then you can set alarms show the freezer consumes more a given amount of electricity. You can then reveal if the door/lid is not completely left e.g.
Hallstein Nortun
Espen Håland: I misunderstood a bit. I assumed that each device was presented with its consumption, and not an accumulated consumption for all the devices.
