Aqara temp and humidity sensor

Same problem here. I could randomly get the sensor discovered but it would not add to list of devices. Any ideas?

I am not able to discover and connect Aqara temp- and humid-sensor. I bought 8 of them hoping to have one in each room😅 Now they are gathering dust in a shelf instead

I have a few of these now, Aqara temp & humidify. Although they require a bit of work to connect, they all work well for me. During Zigbee inclusion I need to press the button on the unit for a random amount of times, then it is added for me. Have you tried something similar to this?

Oscar Gjævert: thanks, probably I have not been stubborn enough. Tried including next to hub, 1 meter from hub etc several times without success. I have returned the sensors and order a similar product, Sonoff. Will let you know if those dirt-cheap sensors works.

Oscar Gjævert: I tried many times to add the sensor but I failed to do so. I tried simple press (many times during the inclusion process) and I tried long press, until the sensor blinks 3 times (also many times during the inclusion process). Is there anything else you remember trying/doing for your sensors?

And yes, I have the latest software revision on my hub.

Alexandru Iordan: I dont remember any specifics unfortunately. But I remember the process as tedious and a bit random. I dont think there was any exact logic to import the sensors, but in the end I was able to get them in.

Oscar Gjævert: Do yours still work? Mine dropped out after a recent hub update..

Rune Hagelin: I had one issue after a hub update, don't remember which one. But that actually suddenly started working again 7-14 days after.
I have moved over to Home Assistant now so don't have any current status.
